The 19th December will be last working day and school will reopen from 12 January 2026. 20 and 21 December are regular holidays and 11th January is Sunday.
The Punjab Government has officially announced the schedule for winter vacations for all public and private educational institutions across the province. According to an update shared by Rana Sikandar Hayat, the winter break will begin on 22nd December and will continue until 10th January. All schools will reopen on 11th January, following the end of the holiday period.
This announcement has been made to ensure the safety and well-being of students during the peak winter season. Every year, schools across Punjab adjust their academic calendars to accommodate severe cold weather, especially in regions where temperatures drop to very low levels. This year is no different, and the government has taken timely action to provide relief to students, teachers, and parents.
School administrations have been advised to complete ongoing assessments and academic activities before the start of the winter break. Parents are also encouraged to keep their children engaged in light study routines at home and ensure they take necessary precautions during the cold weather.
